Needing Revival Like Spring Needs the Rain.

needing-more

Do you find yourself saying yea, sure, I belive in God. I know he came to Earth, died on a cross, and rose again 3 days later, but that’s where your relationship with Him stops? Are you just praying when you think of it or when you need or desire something?

I was once this way. I knew who He was. I prayed to Him from time to time. But I’ve come to learn that Jesus has so much more for those who know intimatley Him. He wants us to seek and love Him. He wants to bless our lives. He wants to free us from bondage. He wants to heal us of our brokenness. He wants to give you and I a great life and give it abundantly according to His Word in John 10:10. He wants to offer forgiveness and strengthen us to forgive others. God has so much in store for you. I know because I have seen a glimpse of what he has in store for me.

Take the next step toward a better relationship with Him. Don’t settle for just knowing who He is. Experience  His goodness and glory in your life. God’s Word encourages us in Hosea 6:3 and it says:

Oh that we might know the Lord! Let us press on to know Him. He will respond to us as surely as the arrival of dawn or the coming of rains in early spring.

Do you feel like you have been in a dry season of life and need rain? Pray this prayer today:

Lord how wonderful that we may get the chance to truly know you. Please respond to us and quench this dryness in our spirit. We pray that you would bring revival to our lives like you bring rain in early spring. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
