- Does He get the time you have left after you cross everything else off your to-do list? Does He get what effort you have left at the end of the day? Is doing things and serving God not near the top of your priority list? If you have fallen into this rut of not having God as first and center of your life, you may just be missing out on blessings that He wants to share with you. I encourage you to let today be the last day that God is not first. Don’t find the time, make the time to be with God in prayer and in HIs Word, in serving for Him and in praising HIs name. Don’t feel guilty and alone about this or where God is on your priority list. Just change it! Here is a prayer from Psalm 25:1-7 that can help you each morning open up to God and put Him first.
Oh Lord, I give my life to you.
I trust in you, my God.
Do not let me be disgraced,
Or let my enemies rejoice in my defeat.
No one who trusts in you will ever be disgraced, But disgrace comes to those who try to deceive others. Show me the right path, Oh Lord,
Point out the road for me to follow.
Lead me by your truth and teach me,
for you are the God who saves me.
All day long I put my hope in you. Remember Oh Lord your compassion
And unfailing love,
Which you have shown me since ages past.
Do not remember the rebellious sins of my youth, remember me in the light of your unfailing love, For you are merciful, Oh Lord.
May you be blessed and Encouraged.
