Stressed Out?


I know many days I feel stressed out. It could be because my kids aren’t listening to me. I’ve got a list of things to do that seems a mile long. Money is coming up short. Things just aren’t going how I pictured at work. My husband and I have a disagreement. I live with the effects of addiction tearing through the lives of people I love. Some days it’s difficult to face the stresses of the situations of my life. Some days it’s difficult for you to face the hard situations in your life. When you get stressed, where do you turn to? What do you do? Do you let the stress overwhelm you? Believe it or not, there is a way that you can have peace instead of stress in your life. In the Bible, Philippians 4:6-7 tells us: Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. THEN you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand.

So to have peace instead of stress you need to:

  1. Pray about it instead of worrying about it.
  2. Tell God what you need.
  3. THANK God for all He has done.

Thankfulness is the key that opens the door to peace.

Start your day with thankfulness and when you feel the stress coming, the Word says if you follow those 3 steps, you will have the peace of God. It’s a fact. It will happen. It will feel like a miracle and you will praise God. I did.
