Love Endearment

I think during times of trouble endearment is like getting that cough drop after a coughing spell. The psalmist was no stranger to times that seemed much worse than a fit of coughing. But think about it when you are sick and you have the crud. A coughing spell is like you can’t your breath. I am not sure why this is on my mind maybe it is the season and hearing about so many babies sick or missing school from illness. But I think we too have little fits of things in our lives all the time. We have these periods of time where we just can’t seem to catch up or get ahead. I want to encourage you today that God knows your situation and what you are going through. Nothing is to big for him to handle. God murmurs endearments to you all through the bible. He speaks of his love over and over. Maybe the trial you face is self-inflicted maybe you haven’t felt endearment in a long time and it is because you chose drugs, or some other kind of vice. Maybe you are just lonely. But regardless of the why I believe God wants you to feel loved and to know that he loves you.  A prayer for you today from psalm 3:1-8

Dear God help my brother or sister hold their head up high. I pray that your presence would be visible to them daily. I pray they would walk in the way of peace, and trust you to supply all their needs for the days ahead of them. Lord like the psalmist said their troubles are increased and many rise up against them. Many have said of them there is no help for him in God. But you Lord are my brother and sisters shield. You are their glory. May you life up their head and hear their voice. When they sleep and when they wake sustain them Lord. Let them not be afraid. Arise God and Save them. Salvation belongs to you Lord and blessing is on your people. In Jesus name. Amen

May you be blessed and encouraged.
